Jason Willaford, a Native Floridian, received his BFA from Florida State,
studying under Jim Roche and Color field painter Trevor Bell. The artist
lives and works in Dallas and Marfa TX. The artist’s work is exhibited in
private and public collections in the U.S. Jason Willaford began working
with encaustic in 1997, and utilizing re purposed vinyl billboards since 2011.
